Introduction

Hi! I am years old, come from Prague and nowadays live in Nürnberg. I work as a process engineer in automotive sensor production. In my previous positions I was a process and product engineer at a power semiconductor company and cable manufacturer.

I studied electrical engineering with the focus on electrical power engineering and technologies for electronic industry. Since then, I have continued pursuing skills in IT on an independent basis. I particulary enjoy machine learning, data exploration and building data visualisation tools.

My most profficient programming language. Frequently used in my job, several Coursera certifications. Usage: data wrangling, visualisation, computation, machine learning, data products (Shiny).

Python

Frequently used in my job. Usage: data wrangling, computer apps, IoT, communication with hardware.

VBA

Frequently used in my job: Automation of tasks in Excel, generation of reports.

Java

Used extensively during my studies, first language I learned. No recent usage.

Wolfram Mathematica

Used often during my studies for computation and data visualisation. Not used recently (proprietary language).

Some experience with d3 library for visualisation, basic usage in webdesign.
